Can I get on contact lenses?

Everyone can get on contact lenses as long as they can demonstrate proper handling techniques and hygiene. Do not worry if you have not used contact lenses before, we shall teach you!

How much does it cost me to try contact lenses?

If you have a straight forward prescription covered by commercial disposable lenses, the trial lenses are free.

However, if you require a specialised fitting including keratoconic, graft, complex prescription and other custom fits. There will be a fee for the initial trial lens mould.

What kind of contact lenses can I try?

It’s your choice! We can fit contact lenses ranging from daily disposable, fortnightly, monthly, conventional soft lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses. We can custom made lenses according to your prescription. If you have been told before that your prescription can’t be covered by contact lenses, come chat with us and we may be able to custom made the contact lenses for you!

All lenses are hard coated (anti scratch) as standard
Additional coating include Multicoat (anti glare, anti static, anti fog)

Where do you source your lenses?

We source our lenses from various lens laboratories both Australian and overseas. This include Hoya (Japan), CR Surfacing (Australia), Rodenstock (Germany), Jp Optical, OSA, Essilor and Shamir. Every manufacturer has their own distinct advantages. For example, Hoya lenses Diamond Finish coating are very well known in the industry for its incredible scratch resistance, long term durability and excellent performance. Rodenstock xtra-clean lenses are known to be the easiest lens to clean in the market.

What kind of lenses can you make?

Single vision, bifocal, trifocal, multifocal, plastic, glass, polycarbonate, we can even make iseikonic lenses! All our lenses have hardcoat (anti scratch) as standard.

What brand frames do you have?

We stock our lenses from independent Australian wholesalers. We carry brands like Morel which has been making spectacles in France from 1880. We also carry designer frames such as Dana Buchman and Zac Posen. We also carry a range of kids brands such as Jacadi, and Agatha de la Prada.

What materials are best for me?

We carry different materials for our frames from the injection moulded plastic, handmade acetate, titanium, stainless steel and others. The best frame material is Titanium as it is incredibly strong, non-corrosive and very lightweight.

What if I accidentally broke my glasses?

All our frames and lenses except the budget range are all covered by 12 months eyewear insurance to protect against accidental damage, vandalism and theft.
